IMS Global Learning Consortium Releases Achieving Learning Impact 2007 Report
Lake Mary, FL (PRWEB) August 6, 2007 -- The IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMS GLC) announced today the release of the 2007 version of its new annual report: Achieving Learning Impact 2007: Trends in Learning, Technology, and Standards. The report integrates an extremely diverse set of viewpoints and data that were presented at the Learning Impact 2007 conference held in April, with an industry backdrop gleaned from interactions with the IMS GLC Executive Strategic Council, Board of Directors, Contributing Members, and Subscribers.

The Learning Impact Awards and Recognition Program (LIA), designed to recognize the most impactful use of technology worldwide in support of learning has started accepting nominations for the 2008 competition. Nominations can come from educational institutions, districts, systems, or product/service providers. Nominations are accepted in three categories: R&D, New, and Established, with evidence from actual usage at a specific organization a key element of the evaluation. Finalists in the Learning Impact Awards 2008 competition will showcase their entries at the Learning Impact 2008 conference.
